Sandy Crowe, 39, died Wednesday (January 20, 2010) in Fernandina Beach, FL.
She was a native and had lived most of her life in Waycross but had resided in Florida for the past four years. She was a 1988 graduate of Brantley County High School and a graduate of the Cosmetology Program of Okefenokee Technical College.
Survivors include a son, Daniel Strickland of Fernandina Beach, FL; a daughter, Jordan Strickland of Jacksonville, FL; her mother, Sara Ellen Thrift Crowe of Blue Ridge, GA , her father, John Crowe of Blackshear; a sister, Leslie Ann Medders (husband Nathan) of Waycross; a brother SGT Chad Crowe, United Sates Army, Ft Bragg, NC; Paternal Grandmother, Delia Latrelle Crowe of Waycross; uncles, Curtis Thrift and Joe Vanada; aunts, Tereasa Crowe, Marie Niedlinger, and Cathy Thompson, and cousins.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday (January 29, 2010) at High Bluff Cemetery in Brantley County. The family will be receiving friends from 6:00 until 8:00 Thursday evening at Music Funeral Home.
