Mrs. Ellen Rachel West, 69, died Saturday evening (January 30, 2010) at Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, FL after a brief illness.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Ware County as a homemaker. She is the daughter of the late Hoke Lloyd and Bessie Harden Henderson.
Survivors include five children, Robin McRee (husband Jim) of Folkston, Leda Holmes, George Randall Adams, Roger Corbitt and Troy John West all of Manor; 15 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; two sisters, Marie Livingston of Athens, and Kathryn Bruner of St. Mary's; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Friday (February 5, 2010) at New Prospect United Methodist Church in Manor. Memorialization is by cremation.
